Join Us at Humphreys Bayside Café
2021 is already shaping up to be pretty entertaining. Humphreys Half Moon Inn’s concert series — Humphreys Concerts by the Bay — is working hard to welcome back live entertainment with a late concert season this year. We are planning accordingly, and look forward to opening up our beautiful bayside venue and the excitement that live music brings to us all.
In the interim, we have begun limited operation of Humphreys Concerts Bayside Café, our harborside eatery with magnificent water views and a menu that’s sure to satisfy. We’d love to welcome you to dine with us in anticipation of our Summer Concert Series!

Harborside Views
Humphreys has always enjoyed a prime location overlooking Shelter Island Harbor, in San Diego Bay. Our café takes full advantage of the scenery afforded by our location, offering diners a serene view of the watercraft docks, as well as an absolutely breathtaking vantage point to take in our legendarily spectacular sunsets. So kick back, enjoy one of our signature entrées, dessert, or a cocktail, and drink in all the splendor on offer.

San Diego’s perfect year-round weather allows the café to offer outdoor dining experiences that take full advantage of the mild conditions we’ve come to know and love on Shelter Island. The sun-warmed sea breezes blowing in from the harbor are as relaxing as they are refreshing. As an added bonus, these open-air seating options offer an extra layer of safety. Be sure to let us know you’d like to be seated outside, and we’ll gladly accommodate you!
All-Day Menus
Any time of day is a good time to visit the café. Looking for an early-riser breakfast? Stop in for a SoCal breakfast burrito, three-egg omelette, stack of buttermilk pancakes, or granola parfait. Don’t forget to top it off with a Bloody Mary or mimosa! Lunches and dinners are just as delicious, featuring fresh garden salads, made-to-order burgers, fish tacos, our famous “Lobstah Roll”, and much more. We also offer our full menu for takeout or in-room dining.

There’s simply nothing like kicking back with a cocktail while you take in a sunset over the marina. Humphreys understands this better than most. That’s why our beverage menu reflects a distinctly relaxed sensibility. Our curated, connoisseur-focused wine selection features many notable local vintages. Bottled beers cover any style you could desire, and our specialty mixed drinks have a decidedly tropical flair. Unwind waterside with us!
Lobby Pantry
In addition to the café, our 24-hour Lobby Pantry is also now open. Cravings hit at odd hours? On the go and no time to have a seat? No problem — we’ve got you covered. Conveniently located in our lobby, this outpost has a wide selection of convenient snacks, beverages, and other grab-and-go treats, so you never have to interrupt your schedule.

Throughout the entire property, the Humphreys team has undertaken stringent cleanliness protocols that meet — or exceed — CDC, WHO, and NIH guidelines for stopping the spread of COVID-19. We’ve extended those practices to our dining areas. As part of these measures, we’re closely monitoring our staff for any signs of health issues, frequently and thoroughly sanitizing all food service areas, and operating at a limited, socially distanced level.
