Big Bay Boom & Fireworks Shows Across San Diego

Celebrate the cornerstone of summer vacation with Fourth of July fireworks shows around San Diego. Waterfront spectaculars are set to light up the night sky, and we want to make sure you have a front-row seat for all the action.

The Annual Big Bay Boom July 4th Fireworks Show

The largest fireworks display in the country happens to be in our very own San Diego Bay. Boasting four barges loaded with a spectacular array of fireworks, this is a show you certainly won’t want to miss. Find a spot anywhere along the bay, or watch directly from Humphreys Half Moon Inn, located on Shelter Island.

Hang out on Coronado Island for a full day of Independence Day celebrations. Kick off the day with the Crown City Classic, a 12k walk/run across the island. Follow it up by checking out Art in the Park, held at the lovely Spreckels Park, and watch the annual Independence Day Parade march through town. End the day by catching the fireworks display over Glorietta Bay. Local tip: watch the show from the golf course or Stingray Point for great views and smaller crowds.
