What to Eat

Little Italy is one of San Diego’s most dynamic food districts, featuring an endless array of restaurants and bars. The neighborhood has been known to attract celebrity chefs, including Top Chef’s Richard Blais’s restaurnt, Juniper & Ivy. Stop by some of the best restaurants in Little Italy, including RoVino Rotisserie + Wine, the Waterfront Bar & Grill, and Civico 1845.

What to See

On any visit to Little Italy, there are several must-see stops to add to your itinerary. First up, snap your picture in front of the iconic Little Italy landmark sign. The sign is nautically inspired to pay homage to the thriving tuna fishing and canning industry that once called Little Italy home. The neighborhood also features the Firefighter’s Museum. This museum has a collection of firefighting memorabilia dating back 100 years. The museum is housed in a former firehouse and can be rented out for private events.
