Exciting New Eateries To Try In The New Year

Spill The Beans

The eagerly anticipated opening of a new Spill the Beans bagel and coffee shop location is rapidly approaching. Longtime fans of their current outlets appreciate the freshly baked and brewed flavors they’ve come to love — as well as the inviting ambiance, attentive service, and commitment to quality that’s become their calling card. And come March, just over the hill from us, a brand-new Ocean Beach location will join their current stops in the Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village and the Mission Valley store that only just cut the ribbon on December 28th.

Gladstone’s

Celebrated Malibu eatery Gladstone’s will make its début at Seaport Village in 2024, and they’ll be bringing their classic seafood fish plates, fresh catches and Maine lobster along with them. The new restaurant is set to take over the space currently occupied by Edgewater Grill, while preserving their famous wrap-around patio and soothing marina views. Gladstone’s is set to be one of the anchors of the ongoing Seaport Village expansion that’s set to bring all-new experiences to San Diego’s waterfront shopping center in 2024.

This eagerly anticipated Asian-fusion eatery is set to open its doors in the historic Gaslamp District this year. With a chic ambiance that’s part bar and part dining destination (with a dash of sophisticated Zen garden and day club thrown in for flavor), Enlitenment is sure to be a hotspot from the moment the doors open. With a menu that’s been curated to tantalize taste buds with items like Korean crispy chicken sandwiches and Eastern-inspired small plates, Enlitenment promises a gastronomic journey unlike anything else in town.
