Humphreys Concerts by the Bay
After our triumphant 2021 season — featuring sold-out shows with artists such as Chris Isaak, Judy Collins, Chicago, Cheap Trick, and many more household-name superstars — the 2022 Humphreys Concerts by the Bay season is shaping up to be no less spectacular. This year, concert-goers can look forward to checking out acts like Colbie Callait, They Might Be Giants, Mat Kearney, Little Feat, and many more. We’re only just now beginning to fill up the calendar with spectacular performances, so be sure to keep an eye on our show schedule for all the latest!
Humphreys SoCAL Dining & Music
Have you stopped by our refreshed on-site eatery and entertainment destination lately? We’ve updated every aspect of the newly rechristened Humphreys SoCAL Dining & Music, from the décor to the menu to the concert calendar at the adjacent Backstage LIVE music lounge. In honor of the grand re-opening, Chef de Cuisine Brendan Brunix has hand-crafted a brand-new menu full of favorites for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that are certain to satisfy any time you’re ready to stop in and pay us a visit. Humphreys Backstage LIVE
The concert series at Humphreys Backstage LIVE has proven to be such a popular calendar of events that we’ve worked on making it even better for 2022! This year, select shows will feature assigned seating, so you can select a spot as close to the stage as you like when purchasing tickets. Some events will also feature a dinner option, so you can add meal service to your entertainment, as well. No matter which night you visit, you’re sure to hear some fantastic tunes. As Humphreys Concert Venue Manager Shauna Aguirre says, “We’re featuring some of the best talent San Diego has to offer — every band, every night is guaranteed to be great!”
Titanic Talents
In addition to the top local and regional talent the stage has always offered fun-seekers, Humphreys Backstage LIVE will also be bringing an increased number of national recording artists to the area’s coolest intimate performance space. November saw the return of Smooth Jazz Sundays, with the album release party for Patrick Yandall, and this month we’re proud to welcome back acts such as Will Donato and Marc Shapiro of Fattburger. We’re also thrilled that Mike Zito will be coming back, with special guests The Bennett Mateo Band opening the same night. In February we’ll be hosting the return of our Presidents Day Blues and Jazz festivals, and in March you can join us to welcome back Funk’s Most Wanted for the final two shows of their career.
The Best of Shelter Island
Of course, Humphreys Half Moon Inn is situated in a dynamite destination unto itself! Our island-style resort is located on San Diego’s stunning Shelter Island, a charming, walkable peninsula that’s surrounded on all sides by the San Diego Bay. The island is filled with great things to do and see, including bicycle and watercraft rentals, public art, a public park with fishing and picnic space, and fantastic restaurants. The island even features a cycling/walking path around its entire length, so you can take in the stunning sunsets and marina views.
