The city’s favorite annual celebration of music, food, art and culture is a can’t-miss event. Attendees will enjoy music, food, arts and crafts vendors, local craft beer tastings, and more. This year’s fair will host more than 100 musical acts over seven stages, so there’s certain to be something for everyone. When you go, you’ll also discover carnival rides, cultural events, and endless fun for the whole family. The best part? Admission is always free.

UNTAPPD Beer Festival — Oct. 1–3

Inspired by the social-networking app for craft beer enthusiasts, the UNTAPPD festival is bringing its trademark event to Petco Park. Thanks to San Diego’s fast-emerging reputation as the “Craft Beer Capital of America,” there’s sure to be a lot to love, all on tap and served cold. More than 70 local, regional and national craft brewers will be featured. Even better, the event is set to benefit Ales for ALS, a charity focused on fighting Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
