Dance Party
If you love spending New Year’s Eve dancing, you’ve come to the right city. San Diegans collectively throw hundreds of dance parties for the occasion, including our on-site event “Dance the Night Away on San Diego Bay.” At this soirée, you can boogie to the music of Detroit Underground and sip champagne. The event is open to non-guests, but if you’re staying at the hotel, you’ll enjoy late checkout and a complimentary breakfast buffet on New Year’s Day when you book our Dance The Nigh Away hotel package.

Diner Party
If you prefer to fete New Year’s with a classy cocktail party, you’re in luck — Humphreys also offers the “Elegant Affair” hotel package. For this, you’ll receive two tickets to a night of dancing and music by The Groove Mercenaries, plus champagne, a four-course dinner, and the same late check-out and breakfast perks as those attending Dance the Night Away. Yacht Parties
On New Year’s Eve, as with other holidays, San Diegans really love throwing yacht parties. You’ll also discover a range of Hornblower Cruise events marking the holiday, including on-board galas and “adventure cruises” with names like “Rock the Boat.” All boast spectacular open bars and incredible dining options, like passed plates and multi-course buffets.

One of San Diego’s most popular events is the New Year’s Eve Club Crawl, hosted by the longest-running clubbing service in the city’s downtown, San Diego Club Crawl.
