The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival's "Grand Tasting" Nov 18 is the big event that brings more than a hundred great culinary experiences to one setting, but there's a full line up of events with tons of ways to enjoy great food. The calendar includes traditional dining events and some perhaps less expected events, like a Golf classic where each hole offers either a food tasting, a wine/spirits experience, or a prize challenge. Go to the movies with the Flix: Fermented event, where you'll watch the food-related film and then experience the many flavors of fermentation first-hand at the post-screening party.
Learn about one of the food/restaurant's hottest trends, Farm to Table, at a panel discussion. It's not all talk; the Behind Farm to Table: Future Thought Leaders Panel Discussion will include lessons in butchering and cheesemaking.
