It has been an exciting summer! The best way to end it is by participating in one or more of the many Labor Day weekend events happening in San Diego. Come to San Diego and enjoy the warm weather, great beaches and fun activities that include sandcastles, fireworks, Tall Ships and so much more.
Labor Day weekend lands on the weekend of September 2-5, 2016. Throughout all these days San Diego will have a plethora of events to choose from. Here are a few of our favorites to help you to start planning!
- US Sand Sculpting Challenge and Dimensional Art Exposition: This 4-day extravaganza for the whole family will bring the world's finest sculptors to create 3-dimensional works of art. Enjoy the amazing art with beautiful views of the bay where ships will recreate the cannon battles of yore.
- Bayside Summer Nights - Tchaicovsky Spectacular: Join the San Diego Symphony to say goodbye to the summer season in a glorious way. For two nights, the San Diego Bay will be lighted up with fireworks and Tchaicovsky's awesome ‘112 Overture'.
- Summer Vibes Ready to Reverberate at SeaWorld: Summers at SeaWorld San Diego include extended hours at night, exciting live entertainment at the park's theaters, seasonal nighttime-only animal show and fireworks that end on Labor Day.
